Are You a High School Journalist? Huffington Post High is Coming
Perhaps the most popular online destination for info on everything from breaking news to the latest in pop culture is the Huffington Post. It’s so popular, in fact, that its founder, Arianna Huffington (see pic to the left), sold the site to AOL this year for a cool $315 million.
One area of content Huffington Post hasn’t included thus far is teen-centric content. Well, it seems like that is about to change.
This week, word of Huffington Post High spread online, as a 17-year-old journalist prodigy from New York City – Myles Miller – was named the associate editor for a not-yet-announced spinoff produced for and by high schoolers.
No further info is available yet on this exciting new venture, but we’ll keep you posted as the site gets developed, as we’re sure it will mean lots of opportunities for teen writers!
